Scandic Münich is located in the new area of ​​Macherei, a modern and trendy district with a history linked to industry, craftsmanship and creativity.

The goal was to build a creative environment that reflects both Scandics Nordic feel and the local identity. Materials and colors are inspired by the brick industry, where warm terracotta tones are combined with blue machinery. Brick compositions are reflected in all patterns, and the details recall the industrial heritage while the general feeling is warm and inviting. Warm lighting, soft surfaces, rounded corners and smart storage solutions provide a homely feeling both for hotel guests and in the comfortable conference rooms. Walls and shelves are decorated with a mix of craft objects and Nordic elements that create a personal, creative and eclectic environment. On the roof terrace there is a weather-protected bar with a fantastic view of Munich’s old town center and snow-capped Alpine peaks.
